I love the idea that you sign up for classes you are not good at so you can experience your students' perspectives! GREAT idea!


Oftentimes, I suggest (strongly) that teachers who want to work over the summer shouldn't teach summer school...they should do something completely different from teaching that utilitizes a different/overlapping skillsets. You learn so much from doing a job that you don't normally do...
